The iShoe card dispenser is a card dealing shoe used in place of a traditional shoe. The shoe holds up to eight decks of 52 or 53 cards (the 53rd card is the Joker) and uses optical technology coupled with a card recognition system that reads the rank and suit of each card pulled from the shoe.

The iShoe card dispenser can be configured to meet a casino’s requirements via the shoe settings, including but not limited to, burn card procedures and specific settings for game play.

The iShoe card dispenser uses the same camera scanning technology as iDeal Card Shuffler. The central component is a camera assembly that illuminates the playing card within the focal area and records the rank and suit image data on that card. The data collected is compared to data stored in the shoe’s memory to allow card recognition.
